GL requires a Cost Object message

If you encounter a message where a GL / Cost Element requires assignment to Cost Object, then you may default it via transaction KA02.


  1. Enter KA02
  2. Enter Cost Element (GL Account)
  3. Select Default Acct Assignment
  4. Enter default Cost Centre
  5. Save
